Energy, talent, and discipline—these are the words that perfectly encapsulate Leah Arscott Leah Arscott. As an award-winning voice actor, Leah has carved out a distinctive niche for herself in the industry, captivating audiences across the globe. Her voice, known for its conversational and natural tone, has resonated with countless millennial and Gen Z listeners, making her a sought-after talent in the world of voiceover.

Born as the youngest of three girls, Leah was always a performer at heart. Her childhood was filled with impromptu comedy acts and dance routines, showcasing her innate ability to entertain. Her early years were a whirlwind of tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop dance classes, along with gymnastics and track and field achievements. This diverse background laid the foundation for her dynamic career in voiceover.

Leah’s journey took an unexpected turn when she delved into the world of health and fitness, winning competitions and even securing a spokesperson role for a major nutrition company. However, it was her corporate experience that uniquely positioned her for voiceover success. With a background in government, IT, and health sectors, Leah understood the needs of her clients from the inside out.

Leah holds an Adult Education Honours Certificate from a top Canadian college, equipping her with the skills to develop engaging in-person and e-learning curricula. Her experience on the other side of the microphone gave her a deep understanding of how to keep listeners focused and engaged, a skill she expertly translates into her voiceover work.

Leah’s love for music has also been a significant influence on her career. As a musician who plays the clarinet, drums, and guitar, and has performed in orchestras, she has a keen ear for tone, pitch, and rhythm—essential elements in voiceover. Her passion for travel, having visited 28 countries, has also enriched her ability to perform a wide array of accents and characters, further enhancing her versatility.

Leah’s entry into the voiceover industry was sparked by a friend’s suggestion and her desire for a creative side-hustle. With determination and dedication, she quickly transitioned from her corporate job to a full-time voice actor, booking her first gig with Air Wick just one week after setting up her home studio. Her talent and hard work have since earned her prestigious awards, including the 2020 voices.com Favourite Demo Award and the 2021 Telly Awards Online Commercials Bronze Award.

Today, Leah Arscott’s trendy, down-to-earth voice can be heard in national commercials, animations, video games, corporate narrations, and more. Her commitment to excellence and her genuine love for her craft make her a standout in the industry and a valuable contributor to the voiceover community.
