Konami has revealed the complete English voice cast for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, bringing together performers from games, animation, film and television ahead of the game’s October release.
A new voice cast trailer introduces Abby Trott as protagonist Rose Belmont, while Graham McTavish returns to the role of Dracula. Several other names have notable connections to Castlevania history, including Alejandra Reynoso as Sypha Belnades and Liam O’Brien reprising Isaac more than 20 years after first voicing the character in Castlevania: Curse of Darkness.
The cast announcement arrives as Konami continues revealing more of the game’s Gothic environments, exploration and boss encounters. Set in Paris in 1499, Belmont’s Curse introduces a new generation of the Belmont family while directly building on events that occurred 23 years earlier in Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse.

English will be one of two fully voiced language options in the game, alongside Japanese. Additional languages including French, German, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Korean and Traditional and Simplified Chinese will be supported through text.
Abby Trott Leads the Cast as Rose Belmont
At the center of Belmont’s Curse is Rose Belmont, a new protagonist and the daughter of Trevor Belmont. Abby Trott will provide her English voice as the game introduces another member of one of gaming’s most famous vampire-hunting families.
Rose carries Dracula’s curse in her right arm and enters the story as a young vampire hunter capable of wielding the Belmont family’s sacred Vampire Killer whip alongside several other weapon types. She travels to Paris with Trevor after the city calls for help, only to become drawn into the larger conspiracy behind the monsters overwhelming its streets.
Trott brings considerable game and animation experience to the role. Her previous performances include Wonder Woman in MultiVersus, Magik in Marvel Rivals and Annette in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, alongside extensive anime dubbing work. Rose gives her the lead role in a franchise celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2026.
The character also gives Belmont’s Curse a different perspective from Castlevania III. Trevor remains an important part of the story, but the new game is ultimately centered on Rose’s growth and her own confrontation with the Belmont family’s supernatural legacy.
Familiar Castlevania Voices Return
Graham McTavish’s casting as Dracula provides a direct connection to another major interpretation of the franchise. McTavish previously voiced Dracula in Netflix’s Castlevania animated series, where his performance helped establish the character as both a terrifying antagonist and a grieving husband driven by the death of his wife.
Alejandra Reynoso creates another connection to that adaptation by voicing Sypha Belnades in Belmont’s Curse. Reynoso previously played Sypha in the Netflix series as well. In the new game’s continuity, Sypha is Rose’s mother and fought alongside Trevor against Dracula 23 years earlier. She later died as a result of Dracula’s curse, leaving her loss hanging over both Trevor and Rose.
Trevor himself will be voiced by JB Blanc. In Belmont’s Curse, he is now an established hero who defeated Dracula decades earlier and carries that history into his daughter’s story.
Perhaps the deepest returning connection belongs to Liam O’Brien. He is reprising Isaac, whom he originally voiced in 2005’s Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. His return puts more than two decades between his performances as the character and gives the new cast a direct vocal connection to an earlier era of Castlevania games.
A Veteran Ensemble Fills Out the Gothic World
The supporting cast adds several familiar names from contemporary game and animation voice acting.
Ray Chase voices the mysterious Fallen, while Erica Lindbeck takes on Joan of Arc. The latter is among the bosses Rose will encounter during the game, alongside recognizable Castlevania enemies including Medusa, Carmilla and Death.
Melique Berger voices Medusa, Dawn M. Bennett plays Carmilla and Aaron LaPlante provides the voice of Death. Together, they give the game a substantial vocal lineup for characters encountered throughout Rose’s journey rather than concentrating its casting only around the Belmont family.
Bosses also have a gameplay function beyond their initial encounters. Defeated bosses can be sealed into Rose’s tarot cards as Arcana, allowing players to use their abilities for spells and special actions.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Arrives in October
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is an exploration-based 2D action game jointly developed by Konami and Evil Empire, with Dead Cells studio Motion Twin serving in an advisory role. The game continues the franchise’s traditional Gothic atmosphere while introducing faster movement, expanded whip mechanics and a customizable combat system.
Its story begins with Paris engulfed in flames as monsters emerge across the city. Trevor and Rose travel down the Seine in response to a request for help, eventually entering a conflict involving Dracula’s castle and the curse Rose carries within her. Players will primarily control Rose while combining the Vampire Killer with weapons, relics and abilities obtained through exploration.
The newly released trailer puts the English performances alongside another look at those environments, exploration sequences and boss encounters, giving players their clearest indication yet of how the game’s characters will sound.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse launches October 15, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. With Trott leading a cast that combines newcomers to the franchise with performers returning to characters from both the games and animated series, the voice cast reveal also connects several different eras of Castlevania as the franchise marks its 40th anniversary.
